COOKING WITH DEEPA PART 2: PANEER BHURJEE

I was hoping for one Indian dish to cook with Deepa and she cooked for a whole course of meal for me! On this second episode, here I share with you Paneer Bhurjee. It’s a very practical recipe and takes so little time and effort to make. Watch it and learn this typical indian recipe in minutes; also see my challange with “kalonji”

Paneer Bhurjee

2 Tbs oil

2 Tomatoes

½ kg Cottage Cheese

1 Big Onion

1 Green Bell Pepper

1 clove of chopped garlic

1 Tsp Turmeric

¼ cup of milk or  1TBS of cooking cream

1 Tsp Coriander Powder

¾ Tsp Black Cumin (Kalonji)

1 Tsp Cumin

 

Heat the pan with oil, add black cumin, cumin, turmeric and garlic. Stir it a few times and add the onions. Add tomatoes and bell peppers and saute all together. Add the cottage cheese, cook for 2-3 minutes. If necessary add ½ cup of milk. Bon Appetite!
